2010 LIONS SUMMER SOCCER EVENTS

All training camp sessions will be held at the Wolfe Park practice site and are conducted by the Bexley High School Soccer Coaching Staff. Participation in one or preferably all of the activities during the training camp period is strongly encouraged to help develop a more competitive and cohesive team unit.
A majority of the pre-season player evaluation will be conducted during these weeks.

**All of these events are strictly voluntary but highly recommended and does not guarantee a position in the soccer program**

Event 1: Bexley Mini-Camp at Wolfe Park & Springboro Scrimmage
Thursday, July 15 - Saturday, July 17, 2010
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Event 2: Adidas High School Team Camp at Hilliard Soccer Fields
Monday, July 19 - Friday, July 23, 2010
9:00am -1:30pm

Event 3: Bexley Preseason Invitational at BHS & Wolfe Park
Saturday, July 24 - Sunday, July 25, 2010; Times TBA
Players for each game will be selected by the coaching staff in advance of each game. Please register if you are available.

Event 4: Lions Soccer: Training Camp at Wolfe Park
Monday, July 26 - Thursday, July 30, 2010
5:00pm - 8:00pm

Costs:
» $150.00 to attend the Adidas High School Team Camp and any or all other events.
There is no additional fee for any of the other events if you commit to this camp.

»A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is due by March 15, to reserve your place in the team camp.

»For those intending to attend only one event, either the Team Training Camp or the Mini-Camp, the cost is only $75.00.

Details: The Adidas High School Team Camp is being presented in Central Ohio for the tenth time this summer. The staff consists of college coaches representing more than 15 institutions and all Divisions of intercollegiate competition. This is a fantastic opportunity for our players to see and be seen by a wide variety of college coaches, while receiving excellent instruction.

Philosophy: These camps are designed to improve player's skills and abilities in a team environment. The technical and tactical abilities of each player will be integrated into a cooperative method of team play. The versatility of all players will be developed, teaching them to find creative solutions to handle any field situation they are faced with. Camp will be demanding, but it is designed for success, and players will come away with an increased confidence in themselves as players and in their teammates.
